A Free Together We Thrive Evening Talk
Ninety Minutes On How The World's Longest-Lived People Actually Live
In a handful of places — Sardinia, Okinawa, Ikaria — people routinely reach their nineties still working, still walking, still eating with their neighbours. Researchers have spent decades asking why. Come and hear what they found, and how much of it transfers to a Thursday night in Tipperary.

Let's Start Where You Probably Are
You've Heard Enough Health Advice
Every week brings a new rule about what to eat, what to avoid and what's quietly doing you harm. Most of it contradicts last week's. If you've stopped listening, that's not laziness — that's a sensible response to noise.
Here's the interesting part: the people who live longest aren't following any of it. Three things usually stand between us and anything useful they could teach.
01
Noise
Advice arrives faster than anyone can test it, and every bit of it sounds equally certain. Tuning it out is a reasonable response — it just leaves you no better off.
02
Distance
It's easy to write off a Sardinian village as somewhere with better weather and nothing to teach an Irish town. Some of it is exactly that. Some of it isn't — and that's the part worth an evening.
03
Doing It Alone
Almost everything these communities do well, they do together. That's the hardest thing to copy out of a book, and the reason most good intentions quietly fade.
None of these people optimised anything. They lived somewhere that made the healthy thing the easy thing and the shared thing. A fair amount of that is buildable, wherever you happen to live — which is what the evening is about.
Who's Behind This
We're Not Going To Sell You Anything
Together We Thrive is a community of ordinary people — teachers, tradespeople, parents, retirees — who got interested in this and started building some of it into their own lives. We run these talks around Ireland, the UK and Europe because it's a conversation that works far better in a room than in a comment section.
This Is What The Room Feels Like
We've Done This Before
TWT events run across Ireland, the UK and Europe. Here's footage from two of them so you know exactly what you're walking into.
How It Works
Three Steps. That's The Whole Thing.
STEP ONE
Claim Your Free Seat
Takes about twenty seconds. Name and email, that's it.
STEP TWO
Turn Up At Eight
Ninety minutes, one talk, questions at the end. Nothing to bring and nothing to prepare.
STEP THREE
Take What's Useful
Some of it will suit your life and some of it won't. You're the one who decides which is which.
What You Walk Out With
Something Worth The Evening
You'll leave with your own view of what's in this, formed from the actual evidence rather than someone's summary of it.
What was actually found
Where the research was done and what held up — rather than the version that gets flattened into a headline.
What transfers
Which habits travel to an Irish town, and which ones are really just Mediterranean weather.
Questions taken seriously
Ask at the end. The sceptical ones especially — those tend to be the good ones.
People in the room
Locals already doing some of this, who you can talk to afterwards rather than read about.
The Decision You're Actually Making
It's One Evening
Ninety minutes on a Thursday. Here's what sits on each side of it.
If You Skip It
Thursday Night
An evening much like the last one. Nothing lost.
But the question of whether there's anything in this stays exactly where it's been sitting — open, and quietly costing you nothing you'd notice.
If You Come
Thursday Night
You'll have heard the case made properly and decided for yourself what's worth keeping and what isn't.
Ninety minutes is a low price for closing a question you've half-carried for years.

Who's Speaking

[REPLACE — guest speaker bio. Who they are, why they're worth ninety minutes, and what specifically they'll cover on the night. Two or three short paragraphs is plenty.]
